The Canadian federal government instituted vaccine mandates for cross-border truckers throughout the country. But as many as 32,000, or 20 per cent, of the 160,000 Canadian and American cross-border truck drivers may be taken off the roads due to the mandate.

Elon raised his voice in the support of the “Freedom Convoy” of Canadian Truckers along with the rest of the activists on these are on their way to Ottawa, in this way they are protesting against the COVID-19 control measures and the country’s vaccine mandates. He took his Twitter on Thursday and wrote, “Candian truckers rule”.
Not only this he wrote one more tweet which reads, “If you threaten people enough, but they will also demand subtraction of liberation. This is the path to dictatorship.” It is still unclear how many truckers are there in a protest as per the sources it has almost thousands of truckers but due to the winters, their convoy is slowed down.
The vaccine mandate imposed by the Prime minister, Justin Trudeau for all the truck drivers in the country, for crossing the Canada-U.S border on January 15, and the U.S followed it almost a week later. However, the trucking Alliance said that almost 90 percent of the truck drivers are vaccinated. While another group said that it “strongly disapproves of the protest that distorts the transportation route.
